The Settlers Run and the Militia Defend the Barn
During this turn the settlers began to run for the bridge. The settler with the cow is moving slow and he is stuck on the far north side of the field. The woman driving the heavy cart cannot urge the horse on to pull the cart - perhaps the cart is stuck.
Note: Both the cow handler and cart driver had to make a skill check in order to move.
The rest of the villagers were free to run.
The settlers panic as they hear the Natives yelling in the forest.
The cart is stuck!
The Militia Prepare For Battle
The Militia begin to get organized. Their plan is to split the small, yet determined, force into two sections. One to cover the barn on the west side. The other force will cover the barn on the east side. By now the Indians have started to break through the tree line to the east of the barn.
The Militia plan their strategy. They can only hope for relief.
The settlers and Militia prepare for battle.
The Indians Attack!
The Indians break through the tree line and start to fire on the the settlers and Militia. The first casualty is the cow-handler. The Militia take positions behind the fence. The Indians move quickly towards the barn and their objectives. The settlers on the west side of the barn come under fire from the Coureur des Bois and the War Band #1. Another settler is shot and wounded.
The Indians are pouring a lot of fire on the settlement. The Militia are doing their best to hold off the attack. Where are the Regulars?
A native scout spots the barn.
Indians break out of the tree line.
The Militia bravely defend.
